Ruffles scarf

This is a project I completed sometime last winter. It's the Ruffles scarf from Pam Allen's Scarf Style book, and I'm pleased with how it came out. It's quite long, and the yarn I used had a nice sheen to it. My best friend (seen here) liked it so much that it promptly became hers.

I've really enjoyed the Scarf Style book. I've also made the Backyard Leaves and Ene's Wrap, and could see myself making a few more of the patterns in the future.

Rebirth

Hmm... so over six months ago I said I was going to try this blog thing and then promptly did nothing. That didn't go so well, did it? That time wasn't wasted - I switched jobs, switched cities, and sewed over a dozen items of clothing. Too bad I didn't put any of that online. I guess I'm having trouble convincing myself that anyone would be interested in reading about the crafting I do, but I'm immensely interested in what other crafters are doing, so I guess I should just assume there's someone out there who will want to see what I do. Anyway, as the new year approaches I'm going to try this one more time, and I promise this time to at least post a picture or two!
